A poetry sitting was organized by Sindhi Adabi Sangat (SAS) Larkana in the memory of poet and writer late Sarwar Mangi. The sitting was presided over by Sarkash Sindhi, while the special guest was Moula Bux Fida. In the sitting a large number of writers, intellectuals, poets and scholars participated and presented their work/poetry.
Our Other Programmes
Sindhi Adabi Sangat (Larkana Branch) has made an
arrangement for a session on every Sunday for literary
criticism. In which different opinions are given on a
proposed literary figure. In this way such activities
are going on with the best of efforts of the branch.
Apart from these routine weekly meetings, arrangement
for special sittings is also made. These programs
consist of different lectures on various topics. One
of these programs is dedicated to the recent books
published, as a book was published lately which was
authored by the joint secretary of Sindhi Adabi Sangat
Larkana branch, with the title “roop bi maya preet bi
maya”. Besides, the members and poets of Sangat
Larkana, Sarkash Sindhi and Saeed Memon have also
published their books.
